Delays of nearly an hour at Gatwick on the 21/5 and again on14/8, whereas on the 5th June 26 JUne and 9/7 it was 15 mins and on the 8/8 5 mins, how come???

Our delay was once on board the aircraft, we had to sit & wait for 40 mins delay was with ground staff.

We had an awful expereience on arrival back from Corfu on the 13th August on XL airlines, we waitied +55 for customs as 5 planes arrived at once, and we waited for our bags for more than 2 hours to come through we waited an hour just to be told what arrival area to go to, and once we got there we waited over an hour for bags to appear on the belts, they kept telling us they had some pipe problems but apparently it was staff shortages. Customs was an absolute nightmare as you can imagine with 5 planes worth of passengers.

Security almost overloaded and terribly slow. On retunr, queues for EU passports longer and far slower than other overseas.

Virgin, easyJet shelve Gatwick bid Virgin Atlantic and easyJet have reportedly pulled out of a bid to purchase London Gatwick Airport.	Flights resume from Newquay Cornwall Airport Flights have resumed to and from Newquay Cornwall Airport after it secured an operating license.	Residents back Birmingham Airport expansion Residents living around Birmingham Airport have given their backing to expansion of the runway.	BAA may potentially have to sell more airports BAA may potentially have to sell other airports alongside London Gatwick, but is likely to appeal any ruling.	Airlines criticise London Gatwick Airport British Airways and easyJet have criticised London Gatwick Airport over forced weather closure.
