I appreciate that we have to go through all the relevent safety checks for our own safety but it can be very long and tedius, which means you have to leave extra time to your journey times so that you can be sure to clear all security checks before you catch your flight. When you are travelling with children this makes it a very long time for them and they get board and don't understand why you have to book in 3/4 hrs before your flight. Surely they can reduce the time it takes to get through the checks. In Dubai the check in time is only 2hrs before departure and this was fine for the number of passengers that go through this airport so why can't we do it in the UK.

Terrible airline...Was held inside the plane at amstersdam for 1 hour after a delay of 1.5 hours...No information given...Delayed when landed because of external power not availble for the plane

Queues were negligible, both out and inbound. Only needed to queue for bag drop at check in desk. A very pleasant and relaxing experience, and flight. Athens airport also had very short queues - made me wonder what the fuss was about, really!

It would also be nice to have a league for airlines for delayed or cancelled flights as I have had a number of cancellations and delays in the past few months and I am only flying UK destinations at present but I ahve been flying on business now for 24 years but have never known it be so bad as it has been this last year the delays at security mean literally hundreds of people are standing waiting for security and what would happen if someone decided to explode a bomb BEFORE the security checks! I shudder to think, the problem has just been pushed further away from the aircraft but not the passengers.

I now hate flying and would dearly use any other mode of transport if it was practical.

Before travel I was told by a friend that Heathrow duty free was a great place to shop. On arrival at the airport the very few notices told us to go to departures. However, a guy in a type of uinform told us that only those with flights before 20:00hrs could go through.
As a result of this my wife and I had approx 15 minutes in the duty free before we were told that we had to go to the departure gate.
My other complaint was the total lack of seating .

Coming back on 24 Nov , touchdown at 11.30 , after no delay at Passport Control our bags were waiting for us on the carousel.
