We had a horrific ordeal at JLA which despite using the Fast Lane, culminated in us being refused boarding at the gate because they said we were too late.We checked in at the correct time and there were no passenger announcements. The queues were ridiculous .The staff were rude and unhelpful | | ............................................................................................................................................................................................. |

| | Posted on 04 September 2007 09:11 | | | I am a regular traveller with easyJet and fly at least once every fortnight from Liverpool. I can honestly say that I have never had to queue during the week for any longer than 5 minutes.
There is normally a bit of a queue on Saturday mornings, but all airlines seem to eexperience the same problems at this time as lots of people seem to show up too early for flights. For example I ahve stood behind a large group of travellers who arrived 4 hours early for their flight - they stood in the queue when their desk wasn't even open!

The longest queue I have ever seen at Liverpool Airport went past the Newsagents and this only took 18 minutes to get through | | ............................................................................................................................................................................................. |

It is certainly necessary to check in early and be prepared to stand in a long queue. For the cost of £2 there is a fast scurity line- just a means of making even more money from travellers
The UK experience compared with Cologne was that the check in was about 30 minutes, but the security was only about 10 minutes and very friendly and you got thre impression that it was more thorough! | | ............................................................................................................................................................................................. |
