Departed Manchester via a terminal that looked like a rabbit burrow.

Made to fit in to a glitzy claustrophobic Duty Free Shop with everyone else.

Arrived back to long queues at manchester at passport control then to at least 2 inches of water seaping in from outside

We picked up a 'customer service' leaflet from the information desk - So People and Customers Matter?

Security is much better at LGW now, but lets see how they cope in the summer!! I flew from the North Terminal, and had no q's at check in because I checked in online.
Coming back from Manchester into Gatwick was a problem, because we were not directly to the domestic entry but the international where we had to join a very long queue to get through the passport control which we should not have had to do for a domestic flight!

Better experience on this occasion

No lost bags and all the queuing seemed in order

Diabolical wait at Manchester Airport

Queues everywhere. Forced to go through a duty free area. We were treated like sheep.

Ordeal on return. Queues to come back in at passport control.

Tannoy announcements assuring us of all available staff deployed.

What is it going to be like in the summer?
