Issue is Air India delays, I have collected stats from August, to present arrivals/departure delayed more than one hour stand at 35%. Outbound delayed over 3 hours. Return OK. Stats are for both legs of ATQ/BHX/Toronto. BHX-ATQ will be approaching 90% if I did the calcs. No reasons offered for delays. Rumour is probs with rest periods for flight crew.

Return flight with Globespan supposed to depart Hamilton, Ontario on 10/10/07 at 20.35. eventually took off at 09.20hrs 11/10/07. We were put up in hotels for the night but only some provided food and drink. Pick up at hotel was chaotic with some passengers arranging own transport. Absolutely no contact made by anyone from Globespan at all and all we received was a photocopy saying that we had to land at Exeter inboumd and then disembark to allow the aircraft to be cleaned. We lost a day at work and therefore money. I hope thia airline goes under as in my opinion .it is not fulfilling its obligations to its passengers.

Check-in was actually 1 minute because we had already checked in on-line the previous day. Fellow travellers through BHX should be aware of the vehicle drop off " facilities " and the costs involved. Information is detailed on www.bhx.co.uk.

The worst feature of the departure from Birmingham was the need to enter the car park to drop of other members of my party before going to my off site car park.Too many people were not putting their parking ticket through the Pay machine causing severe delays. It took me almost 45 minutes to escape from the car park
