What travellers had to say about Bristol Airport

The inbound immigration at Bristol airport was completely unacceptable. We landed at 10pm and queued with around 500+ (2 planes). There were just 2 staff at the immigration desk. Myself and other mothers were expected to carry our sleeping babies throughout this ridiculous wait, with no push chairs/prams, as these were put with the cases. There was also lots of elderly and disabled passengers stuggling like myself. This gave a terrible end to a lovely holiday.

Arrived at 10:20pm - Immigration Queue continued along covered walkway back to planes. Waited more than 30mins even though the 3 immigration staff checked passports quickly. Just too many travellers for airport to cope with ?

there was no one communicating. It took 1 hours 15 mins before they announced that it was due to a problem with the baggage belts.
I last flew back in June and they still had the same problems then!
People were getting very aggitatted and even pushing in

Very long queue to enter the departure lounge due to security checks. Early morning is apparently the worst time for this. In the queue to enter departure lounge, our flight was called and we had to be pulled out of the queue and rushed through. No check-in problems as used on-line check in service - very impressed.

Despite checking in online the day before I still had to queue in the regular line with all the people checking in to drop my bag. They could use a fast drop bag facility like Heathrow has to speed things up.

stupidly long queues to get through security - hundreds of people snaking back and forth. It's not like this elsewhere - nowhere near as bad in Birmingham or Belfast International. Why can't Bristol get security running smoothly?
