When I booked my holiday, I was told by the first company I called "We only use the Major Airports asthat's where people want to fly from". Wrong!! I spent my £2600 with a different company who were sensible enough to see that offering Regional Airports is a real benefit to the customer and in fact a 'deal-maker'. Taxi to the door, 10 yard walk to the queue-free check-in desk. 40 yards to security (queue free). A pleasant lunch and a 10 yard walk to the gate where the plane leaves (on time). Compare that to 'the Major Airports'. I know which I prefer and Tour companies that only offer Gatwick & Heathrow will never get a booking from me.
