| | Posted on 10 August 2007 15:13 | | | BA has stolen my baggage! Due to the one hand luggage policy I was unable to carry my lap top and hand luggage together on this LHR - Prague flight so BA insisted on putting my small navy suitcase in the hold and promptly forgot to tag my bag - it has been missing for almost 2 months and do you think they care? Please contact me and I will share my experiences at Hellrow with you! | | ............................................................................................................................................................................................. |

Would not use LHR as a Europe hub would use FRS, MUC etc instead. Very unpleasent and unprofessional process getting thru LHR! | | ............................................................................................................................................................................................. |

lost baggage is becoming a sick joke for these british airlines and taking days to contact pax back.

| | Posted on 06 August 2007 13:38 | | | | SAS are late every weekend. They have checked my hand luggage and conforms to their standard maximum size. BAA people said not upto airlines it is upto them what size the luggage is..Strange I thought the airlines tell you not some little hitler at the airport. He also refused to give me confirmation my bag was correct size. so every week he could stop me and slow down my already 3rd world passage back to a civilised country (denmark) | | ............................................................................................................................................................................................. |

| | Posted on 06 August 2007 12:13 | | | | This trip was a chaos since the start. Looong time to check-in, security staff rude and unwilling to help (specially with 1 bag limit) , body scanned twice. BA Outbound Airplane delayed by 35 mins. The BA Inbound airplane delayed from Mexico City by 1.20 hrs. Airhostess hostile and the tv and radio facilities of my seat didn't work. Looong wait to pass through immigration. Just 1 of my suitcases arrive to caroussel. 1 suitcase lost by BA staff. Still waiting for my suitcase itself to appear or a compensation reply at least (+2 weeks has passed already). I feel really dissapointed about this holiday experience, instead of enjoying it I regret it. I just really hope the BA this time back to me my suitcase or compensate me for the loss, anxiety, angry and bad times passed because of them. Although I think the chances for these to happen are less each day, as more suitcases are lost dailiy and more bagagge just continue to pile on. Thank you. | | ............................................................................................................................................................................................. |

Baggage took 60 minutes plus apparently the plane at Terminal 4 had developed a problem and could not be offloaded. BA are not at fault, BAA fed the conveyor belt with 5-8 bags every 10 minutes so you can imagine the outcome. The plane was on the airfield apron not at a gate at Terminal 4 but this should not affect BAA and their ability to organise baggage handling. It is a real shame when you can fly from many airports in Europe with the minimum of hassles. | | ............................................................................................................................................................................................. |
