Security was fine, no queue at all which I couldn't believe!! BA however was another story .... ages checking in then was called to gate only to be kept waiting there for ages too when I could have been enjoying another coffee. Immigration on the way back was a bit of a queue but just less than 10 minutes.

BA has revealed vast depths of chaos since my luggage went missing over one month ago. The lack of measures taken display a 1950's service. The mammoth cracks and lack of management to this very obvious question is incomprehensible as to how the airline is allowed to continue to operate. This deserves a governmental investigation

Heathrow may be bad for people originating their travel from the UK but have you ever tried to transit through Heathrow? I have done it many times as I have been living in the far east and transiting to continental europe. Between the officious security personel, long terminal transfer times, unhelpful airport staff, long distances, lost bagage and awful smelly outdated buildings - I have now given up transiting through Heathrow completely. I really hope it goes broke, its personnel and management fired for gross incompetence and forgetting rule No 1. that it is the travelling public that they treat so abdly that pays their salaries. Heathrow has got to be the worst airport in the world (and I travel all over the world) - it is a disgrace and makes me ashamed to be British.

Immigration was a disgrace. Long queues then didn't move and it took over 2 hours to go through. Would leave a really bad impression on people arriving in the UK for the first time to see the chaos and miss ongoing travel

Another fine mess by SAS to Copenhagen..delayed for 1 hour 50 mins just under the 2 hour compensation claim !! arrived Copenhagen at 00.50 so more expense in taxi as no buses...

The quality of Heathrow airport operations has declined significantly in the last couple of years. The terminal 3 waiting area (past security) was positively *filthy* - something I had not encountered on previous trips. The restrooms were abominably filthy and disgusting - even by New York standards, which are low indeed. I cannot understand what has happened - perhaps BAA is focusing entirely on profitability at the expense of the customer experience.
