What travellers had to say about Newcastle Airport

We were held up on the way out due to a drunk being allowed on the plane and causing trouble. He had apparently been refused entry on to a plane the previous evening and was being a pest fully 2 hours before the flight. How he was allowed to board and hold up hundreds of other passengers is beyond belief. However the Easyjet staff and aiport staff dealt with the situation well once he did start to kick off on plane. I can't help feeling that it should have been avoided though.

Newcastle is losing its edge as it gets busier, particularly with respect to waiting for baggage to appear on the carousel, but it still knocks the spots any London airport. If I can't fly directly to where I want from Newcastle, I'll go via Amsterdam, even for transatlantic flights.

Passport control inbound was the worst, 3 planes landed and the queues were back onto the planes nearly ! After a delayed flight queueing for 1 hour to get through passport control is not what you need
