What travellers had to say about Stansted Airport

No problems with the flight Ryanair were on time in both directions but arrival back into Stansted at midnight was ridiculous. We queued from the moment we entered the terminal building right through to passport control. They need more desks and staff, one immigration lady told me it's like that every night! Why don't they install Iris too, that would alleviate some of the crowds. They can't just keep saying it's like this...we're the ones who suffer and it is absolutely unacceptable.

Arriving back into Stansted late on the 24th we joined the back of the queue for Passport control as soon as we entered the satellite having left the plane. It was then a continuous queue until we eventually reached the passport area. Whilst most desks seemed to be working it was clear that there was not enough staff on duty to cope with the amount of passengers arriving.

Check-in took 30 seconds and no problem at security.

passengers were delayed from Marseille airport to Stansted as their 2.30 plane was taken to fly to Dulin. We had to wait till midnight to leave Marseille, really badly treated by Ryanair ! we wrote a complaint letter, signed by most of the passengers and the answer is appaling. Would you be interested by this ? I could send you the details as we may decide to contact the press.
Yours sincerely

on-line check-in, so no check-in delay. No queue at security, so less than 5 min.
